Classic Comedies Reading Series

The Lexington-Hamline Community Theater is sponsoring a reading series of classic comedies.  The readings are held in homes, are quite informal, and include a pot-luck supper.  Anyone who has an interest in well-written plays, young or old, is encouraged to attend one, some, or all the readings.

The next session is set for:
On October 20, 2017, at 1184 Portland Avenue, St. Paul, the play Dead Man's Cell Phone by Sarah Ruhl will be read.
On December, 2017, the play It’s a Wonderful Life by Frank Capra, James W. Rodgers will be read.

The format for each session is:

6:30 p.m., pot-luck supper
7:00 p.m., start reading.  The group will read the whole play during the evening.

No previous acting experience is required.
Each person is responsible for bringing a copy of the play.
Parts will be reassigned at the start of each scene so all those in attendance can have a chance to read.
